This delightful pair of winter snowy landscapes, one depicting a horse and cart with three figures in front of a Tudor building with a church in the background. The other, a thatched windmill and cottage with a single figure. They have both been painted in watercolour then highlighted with pen and ink.
Ernest Boye Uden was a painter, draftsman, and commercial artist. He studied at Camberwell school of art and Goldsmith’s College. He exhibited from 1933 – 1936 including three works at the Royal Academy. This pair of delightful paintings are presented in matching wash line mounts with giltwood frames.
