A charming and unusual 19th century German porcelain figure by the Volkstedt Rudolstadt factory, depicting a young boy seated on a wooden trunk while playing the bagpipes. Beautifully modelled and finely hand painted, the figure displays excellent attention to detail, with the young musician portrayed wearing a cheerful, expressive smile. The quality of the decoration and craftsmanship makes this an attractive example of late 19th century German porcelain.

The figure is in very good antique condition, with no chips, cracks, damage, or restoration.
