This superb early 19th-century Felspar porcelain sucrier was used as a container for sugar. It is richly painted with brilliant detail on a white ground with a delicate design of floral and leafy garlands in blue, green and red enamel interspersed with finely painted gilding. It has two side handles for lifting the body and a finely moulded and pierced gilt knop for the cover. This fine piece of early English porcelain is I excellent condition with almost no wear to the gilding. No damage or restoration. This would be a good example to add to your collection. Circa 1830
