This fine quality Georgian kneehole desk was made with well figured mahogany veneers inlaid with chequered stringing and marquetry shells with a broad mahogany cross banding to the top. It is fitted with original gilt brass fancy swan necked handles to the seven drawers. The kneehole has a cupboard that is accessed through a hinged locking door with a hidden frieze drawer above.
This small well proportioned piece stands on shaped bracket feet.
