A decorative French green glass vase of a tall square form most likely from the Legras factory who was well known in the early 20th century for their decorative enamelling on glassware. This good brightly coloured example is designed to view on the diagonal, showing two faces. It has an enamel transfer printed stylized foliate design which gives a lace type effect over which there are two wonderfully hand enamelled purple and white poppies with variegated green stems, Circa 1900
