This stunning late 19th century iridescent glass vase was made at the highly acclaimed Bohemian Kralik glassworks which specialised in the production of beautiful handmade art glass in this period. This restrained vase has a slightly angular bulbous form with a flared neck. Its surface is lightly textured with a mosaic pattern onto clear glass with a lustrous iridescent finish that lights up with numerous shimmering colours. Over this there are three simple organic green iridescent trailing overlays which cascade down the body of the vase from the matching rim. This highly attractive vase is in perfect condition. It is finished on its underside with a ground and polished pontil mark.
