Bohemian art glass iridescent bowl from the Loetz factory circa 1900

This superb bright and most eye catching hand blown glass bowl was made in Bohemia in the late 19^th century and most likely came from the Loetz factory who specialised in this type of art glass. It is a shaped circular bowl which is made from clear glass with green mottled iridescent inclusions on the underside and a peacock dark blue, green, red and purple iridescent graduated band from the inside of the shaped rim producing a fabulous glass bowl which is forever changing in its appearance according to the lighting conditions. This bowl is in very good original condition with no damage and is finished on the underside with a ground pontil. Circa 1900
