This remarkable and very finely turned delicate white marble charger was made in India and dates to the late 19th century. It has the thinnest cross section thickness that I have ever seen in similar examples that I have owned previously and similarly the extremely fine inlaid decoration which forms a continuous floral design which radiates from a central flower head and trails out intricately forming many flower heads and stems all finely cut and inlaid into the white marble in bright semi-precious stones which include agate, lapis lazari, turquoise, malachite, mother of pearl amongst others which are all remarkably fine in their detail.

In good original condition with no damage or restoration. Circa 1890
