This superb early Spode distinctively decorated regency period cabinet trio consists of a saucer, teacup, and coffee cup. It is pattern number 3983 and is noted to have an unusual and rare handle. It is beautifully decorated in raised and burnished gilding and green enamel in a distinctive anthemion foliate and scroll design over a plain white ground. Circa 1825
