This exquisite heavy cast cold painted bronze figure of a woodcock is beautifully modelled. It depicts a standing woodcock with a magnificent plumage. It is very finely hand painted in realistic colours which are in excellent condition. This pleasing figure is well balanced and stands securely on its feet. The bronze is marked on the underside with the letters, aust, abbreviated for Austria and the Bergman factory stamp. Circa 1930
