This stylish and intricately made English Edwardian sugar basket is a fine piece of silversmithing. It was made in Birmingham 1902 1903. It is beautifully fretted and engraved with flowers and a folate lattice design which incorporates a shield on one side for monogramming or presentation. It has a decoratively fretted hinged handle for lifting and its original Bristol blue glass liner which fits snuggly into the basket and is supported by four shaped brackets that are attached to inside of each foot. Birmingham 1902 03 in good original condition.
