A rare collectable silver Tea Caddy Spoon in the form of a jockey cap. It has a ribbed design and a plain centre button stamped with the hallmark.
Caddy spoons were made from 1780 onwards and came in a variety of designs. They were designed to measure 1 spoonful of loose tea and were usually kept with the tea caddy.
This spoon was made in the Edwardian period and is in good condition.
