This striking pair of Arts and Crafts tall glass vases are blown from opaque glass with streaks of red and yellow glass running diagonally throughout their slender tapering bodies. They are further enhanced with hand beaten and polished pewter overlays in the form of trailing clematis in full bloom which is hand worked in a process of raising and chasing the decoration giving three dimensional detailing. At the top of each vase, mounted into the pewter there are two oval red glass cabochons. One to the front, and the other at the rear. This most unusual pair of highly decorative vases are in very good original condition.
