A large French Art Deco brass and leather mounted table lighter by Polaire of Paris
This superb large art deco table lighter is in remarkable original condition. It is a very eye catching 1920s object which is made very solidly from brass with beautifully engineered parts which all appear to work and function correctly including the sparking flint. The outer casing has its original textured leather covering which is also in excellent condition. This very decadent piece was made by the French Paris company, Polaire who were well known at this time for their quality lighters. This fine example is very tactile and pleasing to handle and would display very nicely with an Art Deco interior or collection and is rarely available in this fabulous condition.
We have not tested this lighter with fuel for safety reasons when shipping.
