This splendid exotic bird is a vibrant and eyecatching sculpture which has cleverly been made from several different coloured stones including lapis lazuli rose quartz and coloured marbles which have been cut, joined and carved to form this beautiful bird standing on delicately cast gilt bronze legs which are mounted and fixed onto a rectangular shaped piece of rock crystal forming the base. The eyes are hand blown in orange and black glass, finishing this bright little creature perfectly.
