This superb bronze is full of character. It depicts a boy with his head slightly bowed, the eyes are cleverly uplifted which captures great expression.
This piece is cast with good detail with a rich gilt finish and is mounted on a block of figured, polished brown and cream marble. Signed Donatello on the reverse.
