This large scale and amusing pair of Staffordshire pottery figures depict two 18th century country folk sat while doing their chores, each with a happy expression. They both have a small black and white dog hiding beneath their stool. These decorative pair are traditionally hand painted in rich colours. Both pieces are in good condition with some minor age related wear. No damage or restoration.
