These decorative roof ornaments have been made to go on each end of a pitched roof with plain ones in-between. They are made from clay in the form of galloping horses with figures holding on to their manes and are finished with coloured glazes of mustard, brown and green. They are basically in good complete condition with some minor damage and repairs.
As seen from the photographs these tiles are quirky and interesting, also being a pair. Circa 1800
