This rare example of early 19th-century brass candlesticks has an elegant gun barrel column which is stepped in the centre and made in two parts which telescope in or out to give a variation in height depending on their use and position. They stand on plain square moulded bases that complement their design and period. They have candle injectors fitted internally which operate by pushing the knob on the underside. This lovely pair of Georgian brass candlesticks are in good condition Circa 1820
