This amusing and naïve wooden model dates to the 1930s and would have been a tourist memento that was locally made in Africa. It depicts a very long dugout canoe which is carrying 16 passengers with their belongings and there is a figure at the front and back paddling and steering. This is a charming piece that would display well on a shelf or table making an interesting talking point.
