This finely sculptured study of a powerful and muscular panther standing tensed ready to attack with strong clawed paws and a wide snarling mouth showing a dangerous array of teeth. This is a fine example of Thomas Francois Cartier's work who specialised in animal bronzes, particularly big cats.
