This superb hand made late Victorian oak and brass bound cask is made to an excellent standard.
It is of oval form with riveted and screwed brass bands which hold the segments together. At the top there is a threaded brass lid with an opening for filling. At one end of the cask there is a beautifully made brass tap with which to draw the brandy from.
The cask sits on a separate oak stand for storing and display.
It is in good condition with a rich colour and patina.
