This vibrant large scale Pool pottery vase has the early Carter, Stabler and Adams mark. It is beautifully hand painted with Pool’s unique deco stylised flowers in a bright pallet of colours including yellow, red mouve, blue, green, black and mustard which form a continuous broad panel at the top of the vase and finished with simple rings around the neck. On the lower section there is a more complicated series of coloured bands with a central wave of three lines with a small cloud motif within its curves. Together forming a wide collar all in complimentary colours.
This beautiful vase is exquisitely decorated, in excellent condition and well signed on the underside including the artists mark.
