This highly decorative pair of porcelain figures are beautifully modelled with very good detail and depict a pair of Chinese temple Buddhist lions in the classical pose each sitting on a rectangular pedestal with one paw raised.  The male is resting his paw on a decorative ball and the female resting her paw on her juvenile Buddhist lion each with an open mouthed expression showing good detail to their teeth and tongues   These pleasing figures are finished with a vivid turquoise blue glaze.  In excellent unrestored condition.
