A rare Italian Millefiori art glass duck
An exquisite Italian coloured art glass duck completely hand blown and made from millefiori glass which is a difficult medium produced with a complicated process using slithers from coloured glass canes. In this example, a mixture of blue, green and white has then been further enhanced by infusing gold. The well modelled head is also gold detailed with an eye that is black and an orange glass beak. This delightful glass sculpture has a jewel like quality which would complement any collection or home.
