This large scale, mid 19th century superbly hand painted pair of Ginger Jars have a white ground with a rich blue decoration in a foliate and flower design with banded borders, further enhanced with a applied dragon which wraps around the top. The lids are of a similar design with the finials in the form of temple dogs. These ginger jars are in good original condition.
