This delightful treen item was made in England circa 1830. The cup is made in fruitwood using a pole lathe. It has a rotating disc inside which is spun by using the bone spindle which protrudes through the glass top which has a fine brass edging. Inside the cup are three handmade dice which rumble around when spun. This dice spinner was the type of item which would have been taken into a inn/public house and used for amusement or gambling.
