A rare scratch-built prototype model of an early French S.N.C.F. (The Societe Nationale des Chemins de Fer, French National Railway Company) electric train believed to have been built in 1938 as a design model for later production with a paper label with modelers signature and dated 1938.
This large scale, finely detailed model is constructed in metal and wood and is painted to a high standard. It also has its original stand which is also superbly detailed.
In good original condition.
