A good example of a rare English George III copper chocolate pot. The body is of tapered cylindrical form with a similarly shaped spout and a copper mounted finely turned walnut handle. The lid is fitted with the original shaped knob and it hinges open sideways over the handle. This is a pleasing original piece in good condition with a lovely patination to walnut handle. Circa 1820
