A Fine 19th Century Agricultural Bronze Study

This rare and superbly modelled French bronze depicts the unusual subject of two large muscular bulls working in the field pulling a substantial plough which is made up of numerous components which allows it to be articulated giving a good representation of how this implement worked. The naturalistic base is finished with a moulded edge. This fine bronze study dates to the late 19th century and has a copper/brown patination which is in good original condition.
