A Fine Chinese Hand Painted Republican Period Vase

This superb porcelain Chinese republican period vase is of baluster design with a tall flared neck. It is hand-painted in rich colours and highlighted in gold. At the neck, it has bands of various patterns and below there is a scene with typical figures of an immortal with a female carrying fruit and alongside is a boy. On the reverse, there is an inscription with seal marks. The foot is also decorated with a banded design and on the base, there is a red and gold seal mark. Chinese Republican period.
