A superb and imposing large French bronze study of a muscular, prowling male lion snarling with an open mouth stance with his teeth showing.
This lion is mounted on a natural carved lime stone base which is signed on the front left corner.
This piece is in very good condition with no repairs. The bronze has good original patina in differing tones of green.
