A Silver William IV Basket

This high quality large silver basket with a hinged decorative carrying handle was made in Birmingham 1833/4 made by Robinson Edkins and Aston - makers of large silver items between 1833 - 1846.
This superb piece has cast raised and hand engraved foliate rim with engraved flowers cascading into the basket. In the bottom of the basket is the original engraved crest mark showing a crown with griffin and feathers.
The basket is fully hall marked on the base with additional presentation initials and dates. it is in good condition .
