A large and impressive French vase by Samson.
The vase is finely painted in bright enamels in the Chinese style with birds and butterflies, flowering peonies and cherry
blossom amongst foliage enhanced with a finely detailed painted collar at the neck and base with a gilt rim and foot.
The vase stands on a hardwood pierced base and all are in very good condition.
