An early 19th century Lancashire Woolworkers ash timber spindle back arm chair with an original rush seat.
The chair has a warm colour and is nicely patinated.
It is in good structural condition with no obvious repairs.
The idea of these country chairs was to use the wings for winding the spun wool onto.
