A rare hand made and carved early 20th century mahogany fully adjustable artists model horse . All of the limbs ,hooves, neck and head have flexible joints and the stand has two brass stems which can be both raised or lowered with the wing nuts for positioning . The tail is made of horse hair .
This is a quirky and slightly naïve piece with a very good colour and patination . A lovely object to suit an artist or a collector of horses.
