An early 19th century French pen and ink desk stand made of gilt brass with hand engraved decoration in the form of hunting dogs and a rabbit within foliage. The stand has two cut glass in bottles with brass tops and a central box for sealing wax with a candle holder fitted to the lid and two wells for pens. Circa 1830.
